Business Development Lead - Affiliate Sales

Are Media is a leading omnichannel content company for women, influencing, informing, inspiring, and connecting with millions of Australian women across magazine media, digital, video, social, e-commerce, customer review sites, podcasts, events, and experiences.

About the Role

This role will lead the business development charge in affiliate sales, driving revenue growth across all relevant channels, brands, and platforms while building strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing effective business acquisition strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Managing external partnerships and collaborations
  • Preparing and optimising revenue for key sales events, providing analysis and insights post-event
  • Reviewing and reporting on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Educating and developing the sales knowledge across the wider organisation
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong industry knowledge and expertise
  • Prior experience in business development or sales leadership
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Established relationships within the industry
  • Experience working across multiple levels of stakeholders to drive cross-functional results
