Job Description:

We are seeking a professional to lead the delivery of our No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) program. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your financial expertise with a passion for community empowerment.

The successful candidate will have experience in loan processing, financial inclusion programs, or equivalent transferable skills. They will also have strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.

About the Role:

  • Lead the delivery of our NILS program, ensuring compliance with policy and documentation standards.
  • Manage a small team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet loan targets, while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address community needs and provide flexible, client-centred solutions.

You Will Be Successful in This Role If You:

  • Have experience in loan processing, financial inclusion, or banking/credit services.
  • Can lead or supervise a small team in a community or client-facing environment.
  • Are highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a client-focused approach.
  • Are confident using Microsoft Office and cloud-based management systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in loan processing, financial inclusion programs, or equivalent transferable skills.
  • Experience supervising staff or volunteers in a community or financial services setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Proficient computer and data entry skills, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a community-first approach.
  • Understanding of professional boundaries, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
  • Financial administration capabilities, including accurate recordkeeping, reconciliation, and reporting.

Essential Criteria:
  1. Minimum Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Financial Capability, Business Administration or relevant discipline; or equivalent experience.
  2. National Police Check (mandatory)
  3. Working with Children Check (mandatory)
  4. Compliance with all policies, with particular attention to those relating to child safety, privacy, data protection, and professional conduct.
