We are seeking a Town Planner to join our team on the Gold Coast.

About the Role

The Town Planner will assist in providing accurate, consistent and timely information to members of the community and key stakeholders regarding road infrastructure and related activities on and around the state-controlled road network.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Assist in ensuring members of the community and key stakeholders are provided with accurate, consistent and timely information in relation to road infrastructure and related activities on and around the state-controlled road network.">
  • Provide specialist town planning and development assessment advice.">
  • Demonstrate knowledge and practice of Planning Policy in accordance with Town Planning legislation, processes and policies.">
  • Maintain effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.">
  • Work within strict deadlines.">

    • Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement">
    • Developing and implementing strategies to achieve project goals">
    • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes">
    • Evaluating project progress and making adjustments as needed">
    • Communicating project results to stakeholders">

Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • A Degree in Town Planning or in another profession relevant to this role which is acceptable by the Planning Institute of Australia.">
  • Relevant experience in providing specialist town planning and development assessment advice.">
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practice of Planning Policy in accordance with Town Planning legislation, processes and policies.">
  • Excellent communication skills.">
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines.">
