Job Opportunity: Enhancing Social Outcomes

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and communities. As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to program participants throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Lake Macquarie regions.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, each with their own set of needs and goals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized plans to enhance training, education, and employment outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV or higher in Community Services, Employment Services, Education, Youth, or Disability Services;
  • Demonstrated experience working with clients with complex mental health needs;
  • Ability to achieve contractual and organisational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
  • Excellent time management and negotiation skills;
  • Current full driver's license;
  • Current Working with Children Check;
  • Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in employment services or case management services working with vulnerable people in a community-based context;
  • Ability to engage with employers, service providers, clients, and their communities to address vocational and non-vocational barriers;
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by people from disadvantaged backgrounds who may be accessing social housing.
