Key Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the operation of multiple food and beverage outlets within a hotel environment. This involves hands-on management, engaging with guests, and supporting the team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Additionally, the role requires coordinating between food and beverage and other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving for guest satisfaction.

The position also entails overseeing the smooth running of conferences and events, rostering, cost control, inventory management, and preparing reports for senior management.

Furthermore, the incumbent will be responsible for recruitment, training, and career development of the food and beverage team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handler qualifications
  • Knowledge of point of sale systems an advantage
  • Hospitality or tourism study desirable but not essential; opportunities for development and growth in the hotel industry
  • Full working rights in Australia
