We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead our day shift production within manufacturing sites, ensuring exceptional product standards.
This hands-on role requires an experienced manager with a background in the Food/FMCG sector to manage resources and ensure efficient site operations.
The successful candidate will have at least five years' experience in food manufacturing, including four years in management, and be qualified as a Chef or Baker.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating resources for efficient site operations and improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety, Quality, GMP, HACCP, Hygiene, and Food Safety policies.
- Investigating quality and safety incidents and implementing corrective actions.
- Reducing LTI and incident frequency year on year.
- At least five years' experience in food manufacturing, including four years in management.
- Qualified Chef or Baker highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and numerical skills.
- Proven ability to manage relationships across production, planning, and warehouse operations.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- A team player.
- Must be able to work in Australia without restrictions.
