Conference and Events Sales Coordinator Position

About the Role:
- Coordinate contracted conference and events through the customer journey cycle till post-event follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Use up-to-date knowledge on rates, packages, operational details, and competitors to prepare proposals.
- Proactively follow up on proposals and use skilled negotiation with clients to win the business and achieve team targets.
- Upsell conference and events packages and drive all revenue opportunities.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and meeting managers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Host successful familiarisations and site inspections with prospective clients.
Requirements:
- You will demonstrate the ability to excel in a fast-paced business environment.
- Have excellent presentation and communication skills along with exceptional client relationship skills while representing the venue to new and potential clients.
- Be highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- As an entry role into the world of sales, previous hotel experience in events or hotel operations is highly valued.
