About the Role

The Sales Coordinator is a key position within Maersk A/S BRANCH Australia, responsible for fostering customer relationships that promote retention and collaboration with the Oceania Sales team to ensure assigned customers achieve expected business outcomes with Maersk solutions.

This role is open to be placed in either Sydney or Melbourne, and as a customer advocate, the Sales Coordinator will ensure customer needs are met and account issues are resolved quickly, leveraging resources from across the company as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term trusting relationships with customers to ensure they realize full value from their investment with Maersk.
  • Ensure internal alignment on customer goals and marketing strategies, partnering with cross-functional Maersk teams to develop and execute omni-channel digital marketing strategies that maximize value for customers.
  • Continually assess customer progress toward stated goals and drive expected results in the areas of adoption, usage, business value, friction, and overall relationship.
  • Manage the allocation process and coordinate with customers to ensure they deliver on their commitments.
  • Manage the tender handling process and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and competitive offer is submitted to customers.
  • Coordinate the quoting and contracting process with relevant stakeholders.
  • Timely contract renewals and contract management.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of shipping, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer relations and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities at once, while maintaining quality.
  • Good process understanding and digital proficiency.
