We are seeking a skilled Senior Industrial Engineer to join our team in Macquarie University and Lane Cove sites. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of applying Lean methodologies and principles. Strong knowledge of Lean tools, such as Value Stream Mapping and Pillar Charts, is also essential. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
This influential role offers great career progression opportunities and direct involvement with various internal stakeholders globally. In addition to a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, we offer on-site parking and annual leave loading.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments of our manufacturing areas to identify opportunities for improvement, recording and maintaining manufacturing process data, and suggesting process and system improvements through the application of Lean tools. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to prioritize and direct continuous improvement activities, and develop business cases to quantify the cost and benefit of different options.
