Rydges is a leading hotel chain in Australia and New Zealand, known for its high-quality city, suburban, and resort-style hotels. We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel in North Sydney and drive excellence in guest service.

About the Role

This hands-on role involves ensuring that the team is customer-focused and proactive in identifying customer needs. The successful candidate will welcome and assist with all guest arrivals, departures, and requests, actively resolving any issues or challenges presented on shift, including responding to guest feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for guests
  • Welcome and assist with all guest arrivals, departures, and requests
  • Actively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in leading a shift
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • A team player with flair for sales
  • Impeccable attention to detail
