Job Description

  • Oversee daily hotel operations to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Mentor and develop a team of staff members to achieve their full potential and drive hotel performance
  • Implement and maintain hotel policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Analyse hotel performance data to identify areas for improvement and make informed recommendations to boost revenue and profitability
  • Foster a positive work culture and promote teamwork among hotel staff to enhance overall employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and complaints, resolving issues efficiently and effectively

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Significant experience (1-2 years) in a similar Assistant Manager or GSA role, ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve outstanding results
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and data analysis tools to inform decision-making and drive hotel performance
  • A thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage departments
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management or a related field, with a strong focus on operational excellence and customer service
