About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the efficient distribution of key chemical products, including sodium cyanide, to domestic and global markets. In this pivotal position, you will lead supply chain and logistics teams across Australia, driving transformation and operational excellence while ensuring safe outcomes.

You will manage high-performing teams in Victoria and Queensland, working closely with customers to deliver reliable logistics services and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead warehouse and distribution teams at Deer Park (VIC) and Yarwun, Gladstone (QLD);
  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across logistics and inventory control;
  • Manage road, rail, and shipping networks and coordinate export shipments;
  • Oversee service delivery from Procurement and Global Business Services teams;
  • Build strategic supplier partnerships and support contract negotiations;
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and dangerous goods standards;
  • Lead and develop your team with a focus on succession planning and capability building.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, or business;
  • More than 10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, ideally within chemicals or industrial sectors;
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and dangerous goods regulations;
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple locations;
  • A track record of managing complex operations and influencing across stakeholder groups;
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and delivering value through effective contract negotiation;
  • Strong commercial acumen and a collaborative mindset;
  • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on leadership style.
