Job Description

As the Senior Logistics Business Partner, you will take full ownership of local and international logistics processes negotiating competitive shipping rates building strong provider relationships and driving innovation in freight and warehouse strategies.

  • Source highly competitive spot and contract rates across key trade routes.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of freight warehousing and haulage providers.
  • Oversee logistics processes from cargo booking through to delivery ensuring optimal service documentation accuracy and proactive risk management.
  • Drive logistics-led commercial solutions that support sales strategies and long-term contracts.
  • Lead reporting on freight trends market forecasts risks and pricing strategies.
  • Standardise rate sheets and logistics SOPs to support the commercial and operational teams.
  • Minimise loading failures and improve overall freight efficiency and service quality.
  • Support ERP enhancements for improved logistics workflows and reporting accuracy.
  • Deliver training to internal stakeholders on logistics processes compliance and terminology.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge:

  • 10+ years in forwarding or logistics management with a commercial edge.
  • Proven experience across ocean freight supply chain roles ideally 3+ years leading teams.
  • Exposure to FP&A and business modelling is advantageous.
  • Background in business development or commodity trading a strong plus.
