Valuer Career Opportunities

We are seeking a Valuer to develop valuation expertise across New South Wales with flexible hybrid work and a supportive team.

  • The successful candidate will undertake professional property and valuation information consistent with legislation and policy.
  • The role involves participation in a 24-month graduate program with rotations across teams including Rating & Taxing, Objections, Compulsory Acquisitions, and Special Valuations.
  • The Valuer will provide valuation support and advice to the government clusters.
  • The position requires valuing every parcel of land in New South Wales and determining compensation for compulsory acquisitions.

The ideal candidate possesses drive, motivation, and commitment to learning with self-reflection ability. They also have strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

The successful candidate can achieve quality outcomes efficiently and make decisions within delegation on valuation matters. They must deliver on outcomes that are transparent, objective, on time and in accordance with relevant requirements.

The following qualifications are required: Student or Provisional Member of the Australian Property Institute, completion of or undertaking qualifications eligible for Associate Membership of the Australian Property Institute by end of 2025, current driver's licence and willingness to travel.
