Financial Operations Manager

The role of Financial Operations Manager involves driving collaboration and career development, while providing support to the finance team in financial functions.
This position entails managing aged receivables, weekly bank reconciliations, and Accounts Receivable team performance. Key responsibilities include invoicing, debt follow-up, high-level debt reporting, and supporting operations managers with centre performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide regular reports on outstanding debts
- Oversee weekly banking processes and reconcile centre and corporate accounts
- Lead and mentor the Accounts Receivable team for optimal collaboration and performance
- Process invoices and debt recovery for external customers and corporate debtors
- Provide senior management with timely debt updates
- Support regional and area operations managers by tracking and reporting centre adherence to debt policies
- Present monthly debt management insights to operations managers
- Coordinate with external collection agencies for outstanding debt referrals
- Review and approve monthly bad debt write-offs and implement ongoing improvement strategies
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Financial Operations Manager or similar role in a large organization
- Proven ability to effectively lead team members to achieve outcomes
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong client-focused approach to problem-solving and corrective action identification
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
