As General Manager Industrial Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that drive sustainable expansion of this growth division within our organisation. Key focus areas include identifying new business opportunities, establishing sales and operations teams, delivering new technologies and services, and driving a safety-first culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and guiding your sales team to identify business opportunities that expand the customer base into new markets
- Continually reviewing and analysing performance against budgets and asset return metrics to ensure targets are achieved
- Leading, coaching and managing senior team members nationally against key metrics
- Ensuring full lifecycle planning is in place for all Industrial Solutions product groups
- Working closely with our senior leadership team and key divisions to ensure stakeholder needs are well understood and included in Industrial Solutions' plans
- Drafting reports, investment papers and marketing briefs, and coordinating our participation in relevant trade shows and other forums
- Being market-facing with Sales teams, participating in tender development and managing the national opportunity pipeline
- Building plans for the development and implementation of technologies that enhance Industrial Solutions' market positioning and performance
- Developing and implementing policies to manage contract compliance (rates, hours, safety, invoicing, disputes, rehires, product/service/consumables sales, KPI's)
We are seeking an experienced leader who will have:
- A track record of developing business strategies and delivering business growth in complex services within the industrial sector
- Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate large matrixed organisations to deliver customer needs
- Experience in leading and developing large, geographically dispersed teams
- Prior experience working with rental models highly regarded, though not mandatory
- Past experience in leading a safety-first, zero-harm culture
- Degree-qualified in business and/or engineering
