About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Risk Management Specialist to join our team at BSI. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in risk management and auditing.

Job Description:

  • Conduct on-site audits against relevant standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) or ESG, GHG, SRA assessments.
  • Provide expertise, produce surveillance and initial audit reports, and make recommendations for certification decisions.
  • Promote BSI's product offering and solutions to clients to improve their business performance and manage risk.
  • Undertake management system audits in accordance with BSI requirements and Our Client Promise.
  • Prepare audit reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the audit decision.
  • Recommend certificate issue, re-issue, or withdrawal, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy and procedures.
  • Lead audit teams as required, ensuring quality service and effective working relationships.
  • Establish and develop partnerships with clients to secure commercial relationships and encourage business development opportunities.
  • Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, ensuring client records are up-to-date and complete.
  • Plan and schedule workloads to maximize revenue-earning activity.
  • Cross-train colleagues and assist in the induction and coaching of new colleagues.
  • Maintain and develop auditor skills and technical knowledge.
  • Support sustainability projects, including ISO14064, ISO14067, Green House Gas (GHG), Carbon Footprint, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications and/or experience in relevant industry or discipline, with comprehensive knowledge of business processes and systems.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards and ESG/GHG auditing.
  • Auditor experience with external/third-party management systems.
  • Commercial understanding of industry compliance, good verbal and written communication skills, and an eye for detail.
  • Self-motivation, flexibility, excellent time management/planning skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel intensively and be an enthusiastic team player.
