Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our independent risk management function, you will be responsible for overseeing investment risk within Ardea’s portfolios. This role encompasses investment compliance and corporate risk/compliance, with opportunities for growth and leadership.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will maintain a direct reporting line to Ardea's Board of Directors, ensuring independent oversight, accountability, and governance.
Key Responsibilities- Timely identification and escalation of breaches in our investment risk monitoring framework.
- Development of our monitoring framework for investment risk, collaborating with our Research Function to review risk management tools and processes.
- Ensuring our independent investment risk monitoring framework is well-documented and communicated to stakeholders.
- Ownership of producing performance and attribution data for our investment portfolios.
- Collaboration with our Research Function on ESG-related investment risks.
Candidates should have expertise and experience in portfolio construction, fixed income performance, and attribution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn about other areas of the Risk Function.
Diligence, attention to detail, and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset are crucial. A collaborative approach to work and the ability to balance independent thought with intellectual humility are also required.
