Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for risk management and governance? We're seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Associate to join our team at Perpetual Corporate Trust.

About the Role

  • Assist in the development and implementation of effective risk management strategies across key service areas to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Conduct regular reviews of service provider questionnaires to ensure compliance with Perpetual's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support in reporting on risk exposures and mitigation measures to senior management, the Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee, and the Board.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain good relationships with service providers and ensure effective communication of risk-related information.

What You'll Need

  • A degree in Law, Business, Accounting, or Economics is required; a minimum of 1 year of experience in Financial Services, preferably in compliance, risk, audit, or operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A strong understanding of managed investment schemes, legal frameworks, and regulatory requirements is also necessary.
