Staff Anaesthetist - Rural Healthcare Opportunity

The Staff Anaesthetist will provide comprehensive anaesthesia services across multiple operating theatres and a diverse elective surgical caseload.

  • Deliver high-quality anaesthesia for procedures including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Dental Surgery, Urology, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Contribute to perioperative assessments, patient optimisation, and procedural planning in collaboration with Surgical and Emergency Department teams.
  • Provide on-call duties and respond to trauma and emergency airway needs as required.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of ANZCA or recognised specialist pathways.

  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Management capability to adapt to a changing health system.
