Staff Specialist in Anaesthesia

As a highly skilled Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective anaesthetic care to patients at our hospital.
You will work closely with the surgical and emergency departments to provide comprehensive anaesthetic services across four operating theatres. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing anaesthesia for ASA 1 and 2 patients undergoing selected complex major surgical procedures
- Managing airways, ventilation, and acute pain services for patients undergoing common and intermediate surgical procedures
- Contributing to perioperative assessments, patient optimisation, and procedural planning with the surgical team
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A specialist qualification in Anaesthesia or a related field
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
