This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the daily operations and reporting for Private Credit Funds. The Financial Operations Specialist will collaborate closely with the Client and Finance Operations team in Australia to fulfill various tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Financial Operations Specialist will oversee cash forecasting, monitoring investment activities, managing fund expenses, and ensuring liquidity requirements are met.
  • Responsibilities include managing capital call and distribution processes, working schedules, and notices prepared by third-party fund administrators.
  • The incumbent will oversee credit and leverage facility operations such as drawdowns, repayments, payment processes, and covenant reporting.
  • Quarterly NAV reporting packages and their supporting schedules from TPAs will be overseen by the Financial Operations Specialist.
  • Approving investor statements is also a key responsibility.
  • Annual financial statements and their supporting schedules will be overseen by the Financial Operations Specialist.
  • Management fee and performance fee calculations will also fall under this role's responsibilities.
  • Investor reporting packages, including investment manager's reports, portfolio details reports, and ad-hoc reports, will be produced by the Financial Operations Specialist.
  • Aiding the investment team with deal funding processes to ensure timely funding is essential.
  • Fund budgets and expenses must align with fund documents and expectations, and payments must be approved and processed in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration with internal and external parties for the fund's external audit is crucial.
  • Preparing investor reporting that meets regulatory requirements is also a key aspect of this role.
