Category Lead

We are seeking a Category Lead to drive category performance through strategic planning, data analysis, and collaboration with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading external agency relationships, maintaining and distributing category reporting, and collaborating cross-functionally to support shopper analytics projects, space management tools, and planograms for category reviews and new product development presentations.

About the Role:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing, or supply chain management is preferred.
  • A strong background in data analysis, including experience with scan/shopper data and turning insights into actionable recommendations is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in FMCG or liquor industries, particularly with major retailers like Woolworths, Coles, ALM, or Endeavour is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) and familiarity with range and space tools like Blue Yonder is desirable.
  • Excellent presentation, planning, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders both internally and externally is essential.
