Job Title: Category Management Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our client in the education sector. The successful candidate will have a broad base of exposure to end-to-end category management, strategic sourcing and ideally with facilities management or construction experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement service tools for internal clients to streamline procurement processes
  • Manage bids and sourcing process, including tenders, RFPs and RFQs
  • Evaluate and assess supplier performance according to contractual obligations, Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
  • Provide reports to management on strategic benefits, actionable opportunities, and issues

Requirements:

  • Strong category management background and skills
  • Relevant undergraduate qualification or procurement related qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of contracts relating to services/projects
  • Experience with tender processes
