Category Performance Specialist

A seasoned commercial expert is sought after to drive local sourcing and category management initiatives for a prominent travel retail company.

About the Role:

This 12-month maternity leave cover is crucial in delivering business objectives and enhancing category performance within the company's travel retail environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across different functions. They will also possess a deep understanding of the travel retail industry and its dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading local sourcing and category management projects to drive commercial performance.
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure best possible terms and prices.
  • Developing and implementing promotional plans to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Optimizing product margins and improving overall category performance.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Marketing, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and Global & Regional Commercial teams to achieve business objectives and enhance category performance.

Requirements:
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different functions.
  • Deep understanding of the travel retail industry and its dynamics.
