Non-Executive Board Director Position

We are seeking professionals with expertise in technology, IT strategy, and finance to join our board as non-executive directors. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of the Australian fresh produce and/or wine industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to our constitution and organisational policies
  • Contribute to the development and execution of our strategic plan
  • Maintain compliance with relevant statutory laws and regulations
  • Guarantee strong financial management and oversight
  • Support our programs through direct involvement, fundraising, and ambassadorship
  • Prioritise consistent attendance and active engagement at board meetings
  • Engage effectively with online communications
  • Share your insights and knowledge with the board and senior leadership team
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a director or in a governance role
  • Solid understanding of the Australian fresh produce and/or wine industry
  • Horticulture, viticulture, or agriculture production, distribution, and marketing expertise
  • Knowledge of quality and food safety systems within the horticulture, viticulture, or agriculture supply chain
  • Familiarity with food safety or environmental policy
  • Experience in governance, financial management, and compliance
  • NFP governance or compliance experience (desired but not essential)
  • AICD Company Directors Course or equivalent governance qualification (desired but not essential)
  • A network useful for our growth and development
