
Supporting Young Lives: Therapeutic Care Specialist

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Therapeutic Care Workers. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people who have experienced trauma, abuse, and neglect.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting young people to develop and foster appropriate life skills and social abilities, promoting their personal development and increasing their connection with the community.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a therapeutic residential care environment that provides 24/7 consistent rotating roster shifts, including sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
As a Therapeutic Care Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a secure and consistent primary relationship with young people, helping them settle into a home-like environment and achieve their goals and aspirations.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum Certificate IV qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Youth Work, Social Work, Social Science, Counselling)
- Experience working with young people with complex trauma
- Ability to form a secure attachment with young people
- Experience in developing case plans, case noting, and report writing
