Support Worker

This is a dynamic role where you will play a pivotal part in delivering client-centred support within a trauma-informed framework.

Key responsibilities include providing social engagement, mentoring, transportation, and supervision to young people in our care. You will implement clinically guided support plans and work closely with caseworkers, therapeutic providers, and clinical staff to create and maintain a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Diploma in Community Services or other relevant qualification
  • Experience and understanding of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic care
  • Resilience, patience, and at times a sense of humour
  • Availability for a variety of shifts including weekends and sleep-over shifts

You will be working towards creating a positive impact on the lives of young people, supporting their journey towards healing, independence, and a brighter future.
