Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial industrial equipment and be able to troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  • Perform all preventive maintenance on systems and maintain applicable log books
  • Conduct walk-through inspections; change belts, filters, adjust volume dampers, check gauges, coils, drain lines, bleed gas lines, reset compressors, check unit sensors, relocate ductwork and troubleshoot to locate sources and cause of malfunction
  • Assist with estimating parts, supplies, equipment and labor hours needed to complete assigned repairs and monitor computer for malfunctions
  • Maintain quality of air, air flow and temperature at on and off-site facilities; adjust valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through system
  • Record gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment
  • Maintain technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate
Requirements
  • High School diploma or technical certificate required as well as a minimum of three (3) years' experience with commercial industrial equipment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience required
  • Florida state EPA HVAC License required
  • Basic mechanical aptitude required
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, diagrams and drawings required
Work Environment
  • Must be able to work in high/precarious places, be near fiberglass insulation and electrical current
  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise
