Residential Care Services Leader

The role of the Holiday Relief Facility Manager is crucial in ensuring continuity of care during periods of leave. This position requires an experienced facility manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of one of our five sites.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and business expertise to the facility team to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
  • Assuming responsibility for site management, including integration of our values into practice and ensuring compliance with accreditation outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience as a facility manager in residential care services, including extensive knowledge of the aged care standards and legislative framework.
  • A strong focus on consumer needs and preferences.
  • High-level leadership and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to write reports and produce timely, clear communication.
  • A high level of self-motivation and positive outlook.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Nursing, Allied Health, Business, Management).
  • Covid Vaccinations (or approved exemptions).
  • National Police Clearance and Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Check with NDIS endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
