Ambulance Clinical Services Director

This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing and directing clinical governance and patient safety programs to ensure high-quality care aligned with contemporary standards and practice.
- Strategic management of all clinical matters in consultation with Medical Directors and the Chief Executive will be a key aspect of this role.
- Development and implementation of clinical practice guidelines, policies, protocols, and procedures will support safe and effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Substantial expertise in ambulance service administration and operational management, including educational principles, research, patient safety, and clinical services redesign will be essential.
- Highly developed strategic management skills, including conceptual, analytical, and creative thinking to drive strategy and innovation will be required.
- Proven organizational skills to review and develop continuous quality improvement initiatives and techniques on clinical direction, education, policies, programs, and curriculum will be necessary.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Paramedic Science or equivalent qualification approved by the relevant authority will be required.
- A current Driver's Licence will also be necessary.
