As the clinical director of a radiology service, you will be responsible for driving growth and strategic direction across Tasmania.

Your leadership role will involve mentoring a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting best practices. You will also oversee quality assurance and service delivery, while encouraging sub-specialty development and championing ongoing education and professional development.

The role offers a unique opportunity to lead a respected local provider known for quality and collaboration. With a diverse clinical mix including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, and interventional procedures, you will be able to provide visionary leadership and direction to the radiology team statewide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive improvements in patient care and operational excellence
  • Promote sub-specialty interests and continuous education
  • Collaborate with the broader network for knowledge sharing
  • Foster a supportive, team-oriented culture

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a radiology environment
  • FRANZCR qualification with high proficiency in general radiology
  • Subspecialty skills in Women's Imaging, MSK, MRI, or interventional radiology are highly regarded
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
