Job Summary:

The key objective of this role is to identify and capitalize on opportunities for driving value out of vendor partnerships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert knowledge of vendor contract details to support divisional goals.
  • Analyse current and future demand for data and technology goods and services, and provide strategic advice on contract management solutions.
  • Monitor progress against contract performance criteria, manage target milestones, successes and achievements.
  • Negotiate and manage variations and progress claims, prepare financial forecasts and monitor cash flow as required.
  • Foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and partners.
  • Conduct regular audits across the Data and Technology division to ensure compliance with delivery and service level agreements.
  • Develop a risk and performance evaluation framework for vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor details and contract information using existing tooling.
  • Ensure that vendor contracts are up-to-date and any changes or amendments are actioned in a timely manner, in liaison with the procurement team.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in vendor engagement, contract review and SLA management.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate business outcomes and cost savings through advanced supplier management techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for developing relationships with vendors, stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Excellent written communication skills to articulate complex issues and risks in high-level documentation.
