Job Title: Front Office All Rounder

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Office All Rounder to join our team at Mercure Penrith. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, and promoting our hotel's services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, anticipating their needs and responding promptly to requests.
  • Manage guest and hotel accounts accurately and efficiently, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to procedures.
  • Promote the Accor Live Limitless loyalty program and encourage guests to participate.
  • Ensure the security of guests and their possessions, handling complaints in a positive manner and escalating as necessary.
  • Provide food and beverage service, including barista and bar service, food preparation, and maintaining high levels of food safety.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest requests are completed efficiently.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and capabilities, increasing the guest experience.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Experience in Hotel Front Office using OPERA Cloud would be an advantage.
  • A passion for service excellence and fluency in the English language.
  • Confident, vibrant, outgoing, and professional personality with the ability to juggle competing demands.
  • Ability to multitask and complete several tasks at the same time, prioritizing tasks to ensure guest requests are completed immediately.
  • Immaculate presentation and physical fitness to complete a full shift on your feet.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Must hold a current NSW RSA Certificate.
  • Experienced using a Barista coffee machine or be prepared to attend a training course for making coffee.
  • Visa holders require full Australian working rights with no restrictions.
