Assistant Manager

At Accor, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at Mercure Penrith. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for leading the evening shift and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, concierge, and room service.
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver outstanding customer service and exceed guest expectations.
- Be proactive and resourceful in attending to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and productive.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to all employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Monitor training and offer guidance to employees while on shift.
- Assist in all areas of the hotel during peak times to eliminate potential issues.
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of all patrons, guests, and staff members.
- Previous Front Office experience in the hotel industry is essential.

- Must be available to work evening shifts (3:00pm - 11:00pm) weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
