Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Office All Rounder to join our team at Mercure Penrith. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet guests with a warm welcome, provide exceptional service, and anticipate their needs to ensure a memorable experience.
  • Front Office Operations: Manage guest and hotel accounts, maintain confidentiality, and ensure procedures are followed for issuing room keys, handling credit cards, and cash handling.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Provide food and beverage service to guests, including barista and bar service, food preparation, and ensuring high levels of food safety.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, such as Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance, to ensure guest requests are completed efficiently.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other front office team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Receptionist in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in Hotel Front Office using OPERA Cloud would be an advantage.
  • Personal Qualities: A passion for service excellence, fluent in the English language, confident, vibrant, outgoing, and professional personality, ability to multitask, and physically fit.
  • Education and Certifications: Must hold a current NSW RSA Certificate and be able to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
