As a key member of our finance team, you'll play a crucial role in driving our business forward. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to precision and innovation, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in the world of sustainable products.

Your Role

You'll be working across our Dandenong South Warehouse and our South Melbourne Head Office, collaborating with our Financial Controller to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments. This hands-on role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Invoice Processing: Accurately process high volumes of invoices across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Vendor Management: Verify the accuracy of invoice details, including amounts, account codes, and payment terms.
  • Payment Preparation: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, acting as the main point of contact for payment-related inquiries.
  • Cash Flow Management: Prepare and process payment runs, including EFT, BPAY, and manual cheque payments, while monitoring cash flow.

You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate and well-organised records of invoices, reconciliations, and payments for audit and compliance purposes.

What You Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Accounting Expertise: Experience with accounting software (NetSuite preferred) and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Financial Knowledge: A solid understanding of financial processes, including reconciliations, vendor management, and payment preparation.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to professionally interact with vendors and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic environment.

A resourceful approach to problem-solving and process improvements will also be essential in this role.
