About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Administration Officer to join our team at the City of Mandurah. As a key member of our Rangers Office, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the Rangers Office team, including secretarial and general administration duties.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, letters, and other documentation as required.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, including financial and personnel information.
  • Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant qualification in office administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a local government or public sector environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present reports and other documentation.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement.
