Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Business Development Coordinator to provide proactive support to our Directors and teams in preparing for future bids.

  • Support the development of collateral to demonstrate value and position our company for future opportunities.
  • Analyze and coordinate the creation of comprehensive PQQ/RFT/RFP responses within strict timescales.
  • Assist in the strategic pursuit planning and bid forums, including win theme development and storyboard creation.
  • Ensure all bids are targeted to defined audiences and incorporate local knowledge, evidence, and writing style/branding.
  • Coordinate input from bid partners, directors, technical experts, and the wider team to ensure a consistent and coherent final bid.
  • Provide a structured format and text for others contributing to bid, as well as quality assurance and peer review of written content.
  • Review and amend draft bids based on feedback from peers, directors, and the bid manager.
  • Ensure all bids undergo internal quality assurance and governance processes.
  • Support flexible working across the organization to ensure a unified and consistent approach to bids.
  • Extract key information from tenders and manage information in-line with internal feedback analysis processes.
  • Support best practice training on bid process, structure, and quality.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in writing successful bid submissions.
  • Project Management or Bid Management experience.
  • Strong MS Office skills and IT literacy.
  • Proof-reading skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail, including bid compliance.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Capacity to travel with occasional overnight stays.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant degree in an Engineering discipline or Business, Marketing, English.
