About the Role

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions during the overnight period. Your primary objective will be to review and process all guest charges, identify any discrepancies or errors, and make adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Organize and verify all guest check-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations;
  2. Secure payment; verify and adjust billing;
  3. Activate and file room keys;
  4. Process all guest requests and relay messages;
  5. Print contingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency;
  6. Identify and explain room features to guests; supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest;
  7. Follow up on any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day and are resolved;
  8. Run and review daily reports/logs;
  9. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system;
  10. Accept and record wake-up call requests and deliver to appropriate department;
  11. Count bank at beginning and end of shift; secure bank;
  12. Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges; provide change;
  13. Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or hotel environment is an asset;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently;
  • A positive attitude and excellent guest service skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.
