Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor with a Focus on Customer Service Excellence

Located on the picturesque grounds of Macquarie University at North Ryde, MGSM Hotel and Conference Centre is an award-winning venue offering hotel accommodation, an a la carte restaurant, café, and multipurpose meeting and event space.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Night Auditor to join our team. This casual role reports directly to the front office manager and is a key member of the hotel team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overnight operations from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including verifying guest accounts, reconciling and balancing charges, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, and addressing any other guest requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities- Process hotel guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Settle accounts for early departures and resolve any discrepancies
- Address customer queries and issues promptly and professionally
- Complete necessary reconciliation and reporting tasks
- Conduct security checks and report any maintenance issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver excellent outcomes
- A minimum of [insert estimated salary] per annum, based on experience and qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work unsupervised
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or a related field
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera)
