Nurse Home Visitor

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Home Visitor to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation. The successful candidate will work in partnership with Aboriginal Family Partnership Workers to deliver a culturally responsive home visiting program to Aboriginal families.
The Australian Nurse Family Partnership Program is a rigorously evaluated national program that has been running for over 25 years. The program involves Registered Nurses and/or Midwives working with Aboriginal Family Partnership Workers and enrolled clients from early pregnancy to 2 years post-birth.
The role of the Nurse Home Visitor is to develop a long-term relationship with clients, building their capacity, skills, and confidence to ensure self-determination and ability to determine their own future. As a strengths-based practitioner, you will work in a team environment, building warm therapeutic relationships that support families to be the best parents they can be.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver culturally responsive home visiting program to Aboriginal families
- Work in partnership with Aboriginal Family Partnership Workers
- Develop long-term relationships with clients
- Build client capacity, skills, and confidence
