Aboriginal Family Partnership Specialist

The Family Partnership Worker is an integral part of the Congress Australian Nurse Family Partnership Program (ANFPP) visiting team, providing education, promotional activities, and cultural guidance to support clients in achieving their goals. This role is culturally sensitive and focuses on building warm, consistent, and caring therapeutic relationships with women.
The ANFPP team consists of specially trained Nurse Home Visitors, Family Partnership Workers, Social Workers, and Nurse Supervisors who visit women and their families to support a healthy pregnancy and confident parenting. To be considered for this position, you will require:
- Identifies as an Aboriginal person and is recognised and accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in one or more local Aboriginal languages, and the ability to communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environment.
- Qualifications in a relevant field or the willingness to obtain, or a minimum of 1 year experience in a relevant field of working with Aboriginal women, children, and families.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationship networks and establish trust with the community.
- Current Drivers Licence.
