About a Building Auditor Role
We are seeking an experienced Building Auditor to join our team.
About the role
- You will be travelling from home to various sites across Tasmania collecting information on the condition of buildings using tablets, taking photographs, room measurements and 3D image scans.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Data Capture and Recording: Identify and record data on building systems, fixtures and fabrics including mechanical/electrical building services, cladding, walls, floor coverings and ceilings.
- Reporting and Data Upload: Provide accurate and detailed reports for assessments when required and upload data as directed.
- Quality Assurance: Engage with the team to maintain accuracy and verify data capture quality.
- Additional Tasks: Take room measurements, sketch basic floorplans and provide other data as directed.
Ideally You Will Have:
- Demonstrated experience in inspections/data capture projects across large commercial buildings.
- A valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Registration to Work with Vulnerable People or the ability to obtain it.
- An exceptional level of attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency with the use and basic troubleshooting of smartphones, laptops, tablets and cameras.
- A professional demeanor and capability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

- Australian work rights and full-time availability for the duration of the project.
