Building Fabric Inspector

We are seeking experienced professionals with a strong understanding of building fabrics and mechanical/electrical services, or demonstrated expertise in conducting asset data capture projects for buildings.
As a Building Auditor, you will travel to various sites across Tasmania, collecting information on the condition of buildings using tablets, taking photographs, room measurements, 3D image scans, and collecting other data as directed.
Responsibilities:- Identify and record data on type, location, and condition of relevant mechanical/electrical building systems, fixtures, and building fabrics.
- Ensure thorough and accurate data capture, uploading data promptly to minimize risk of loss.
- Craft detailed reports for assessments when required.
- Maintain accuracy and verify data quality by engaging with the team.
- Take precise room measurements and sketch basic floor plans.
