As a Building Auditor, you will be traveling from home to various sites across Tasmania, collecting information on the condition of different buildings. You will use tablets, take photographs, room measurements, 3D image scans, and collect other data as directed.
">- Identify and record data on mechanical/electrical building systems, fixtures, and building fabrics (cladding, walls, floor coverings, ceilings).
- Provide thorough and accurate data capture, ensuring data is uploaded as directed to minimize risk of data loss.
- Craft detailed reports for assessments when required.
- Actively engage with the team to maintain accuracy and verify data capture quality.
- Taking room measurements and sketching basic floor plans.
You will be responsible for:
">- Conducting site visits and collecting data on building conditions.
- Using digital tools to record and upload data.
- Crafting high-quality reports for assessments.
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintaining accurate records and files.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- Demonstrated experience in inspections and data capture projects across large commercial buildings.
- Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.
- Registration to work with vulnerable people or ability to obtain one.
- Exceptional level of attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Proficient use of smartphones, laptops, tablets, and cameras.
Please note: Applicants must hold valid work rights in Australia and be available to work full-time hours for the duration of the project.
