As a seasoned sales professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Slack within the public sector.

This high-growth opportunity calls for an ambitious and strategic Account Executive to spearhead sales growth and foster lasting relationships with government customers.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of government and public sector dynamics, including regulatory changes, government initiatives, and procurement cycles.

You will be responsible for positioning Slack's unique capabilities to address the specific needs of government entities, helping them modernize collaboration and improve efficiency.

Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within your assigned territory.

Lead and leverage a matrix account team, including Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Marketing, Inside Sales, and Customer Success.

Key requirements include strong expertise in the government sector, ability to develop long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
