Key Regional Market Leader

This role plays a pivotal part in understanding and analyzing the dynamic landscape of the Marine segment within an assigned region.

The Key Regional Market Leader will drive profitable growth and maintain a competitive edge by leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with market objectives.

The position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and expertise in navigating complex business environments to achieve and surpass business objectives.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of all functions, operations, and vendors to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with regional Operational and Commercial teams to ensure alignment on tasks required to achieve market objectives.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of all financial drivers within the assigned market/region to make informed decisions.
  • Participate in industry associations within the assigned region to stay abreast of all issues impacting our industry while building brand equity with critical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Marine or intermodal industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing data-driven strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Skills in guiding teams, decision-making, and communication at a senior management level are crucial.
