Procurement Strategist - Commodities Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Strategist to spearhead our commodity sourcing efforts.

About the Role:

  • Lead market research and opportunity identification to drive business growth within plastics, packaging, and recycling industries.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders including manufacturers, suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
  • Design and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients and retain existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Operations and Finance teams to develop competitive pricing strategies for suppliers and customers.
  • Leverage expertise in procurement strategy development and execution across direct and/or indirect categories such as raw materials, packaging, logistics, or marketing services.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sales, trading, or strategic growth in a B2B environment, preferably commodity trading within plastics, packaging, or recycling industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in plastic procurement, sales, or trading.
  • Established network of suppliers and customers within plastics industry.
  • Proven ability to execute commercial strategies that drive measurable growth.
