About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Infrastructure and Service Management team at Westpac as a ServiceNow Developer. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the development of enhancements to the ServiceNow platform, working closely with Tech Leads, Business Analysts, and other Developers to ensure high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum software development environment, collaborating with the aligned Product Owner, Business Analyst, Technical Lead, and other Developers to refine backlog stories and provide technical input.
  • Develop solutions using your technical skills, providing peer support and guidance, and contributing to the efficient operation of the squad and overall release train.
  • Document detailed designs and estimations, ensuring that all development and configuration activity follow a consistent process.
  • Work with BA's, Scrum masters, and tech leads to refine backlog stories and provide technical input regarding ServiceNow configuration, best practice, and platform features.

Requirements
  • Good knowledge of HR processes and ITIL with ITIL v4 certification preferred.
  • Strong expertise with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Relevant certifications of ServiceNow CSA and CAD.
  • Strong experience with Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs, including advanced scripting of each, forms workflows, integration hub, and custom Service Portal widgets.
  • Strong functional knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including Employer Centre, HR Service Delivery, Service Catalog/Portal, and HR Mobile & Chatbots.
